چکیده
The comparative life testing for products from different production lines under joint censoring schemes has received some attention over the past few years. Mondal and Kundu recently used balanced progressive type-II scheme to discuss exponential Weibull populations. This paper implements with a hybrid type-I known as (BJPHCS). Lomax products’ model formulation two of BJPHCS is discussed. parameters are estimated maximum likelihood estimation point corresponding asymptotic confidence intervals. Under independent gamma priors, Bayes estimators associated credible intervals obtained help MCMC technique. validity theoretical results developed in this problems discussed through numerical example Monte Carlo simulation study, which report estimators’ quality. Finally, we give brief comment describing results.

Statistical Inference for the Lomax Distribution under Progressively Type-II Censoring with Binomial Removal
This paper considers parameter estimations in Lomax distribution under progressive type-II censoring with random removals, assuming that the number of units removed at each failure time has a binomial distribution. The maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) are derived using the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm. The Bayes estimates of the parameters are obtained using both the squared erro...
متن کاملInference for Lomax Distribution Based on Type-II Progressively Hybrid Censored Data
ABSTRACT The mixture of Type-I and Type-II censoring schemes, called the hybrid censoring scheme is quite common in life-testing or reliability experiments. In this paper, we investigate the estimation of parameters from two-parameter Lomax distribution based on Type-II progressively hybrid censored samples. Maximum likelihood estimates for the distribution parameters and the reliability indice...
متن کاملOptimal sample size and censoring scheme in progressively type II censoring based on Fisher information for the Pareto distribution
One of the most common censoring methods is the progressive type-II censoring. In this method of censoring, a total of $n$ units are placed on the test, and at the time of failure of each unit, some of the remaining units are randomly removed. This will continue to record $m$ failure times, where $m$ is a pre-determined value, and then the experiment ends. The problem of determining the optimal...
متن کاملLocally optimal tests for exponential distributions with type-I censoring
This article studies a locally optimal test φ for testing H0 : θ ≥ θ0 versus H1 : θ < θ0 for the lifetime parameter θ in an exponential distribution based on type-I censored data. Certain properties associated with φ are addressed. We compare the performance of φ with that of Spurrier and Wei’s [Spurrier, J.D., Wei, L.J., 1980. A test of the parameter of the exponential distribution in the type...
متن کاملOptimization of Random Sample Size in Progressively Type II Censoring based on Cost Criterion
So far censored samples have been studied by many researchers. One of the most important methods of censoring is progressively type II censoring. An interesting issue in the discussion of censoring is determination of the optimal sample size. Various factors are influential in determining the appropriate sample size, the most important of which is the sampling cost criterion. In this paper, ass...
